Program Description

Event Details

The Youth Mental Health First Aid® course is for anyone age 18 and older who is interested in learning how to help young people experiencing mental health challenges or crises. You can become certified in Mental Health First Aid® by attending 2 sessions and completing a small amount of pre and post session work online.

This training is offered by Cecil County Public Library using the National Council for Mental Wellbeing’s curriculum.

Pre-Class work must be finished to attend the first session. Participation in both sessions is required for certification.

Register to attend with your email, and then watch your email for an invitation. Once you accept the invitation, you will be able to login to complete the required pre-work.

Full or partial financial assistance has been provided for this project through the Cecil County VLT Local Community Grant Program, sponsored by the Cecil County Executive.
