Under the general supervision of the Branch Manager, the Library Associate II provides high quality information, reader, and technology services to the Rising Sun community while consistently delivering caring, non-judgmental customer service. This position develops and delivers a full range of diverse and innovative programs, services, and outreach initiatives for adults and is responsible for performing and overseeing high-level research inquiries and initiatives.
Under general supervision of the Youth Services Supervisor, the Library Associate II provides high quality information and reader services to teens (ages 12-18) in the North East community while consistently delivering caring, non-judgmental customer service. Develops and delivers a full range of diverse and innovative programs and services, including community outreach initiatives, for teens (ages 12-18). Manages and maintains dedicated teen room with study rooms, computer lab and collaborative technology station.

This position develops and delivers a full range of diverse and innovative programs, services, and outreach initiatives for adults and is responsible for performing and overseeing high-level research inquiries and initiatives.
Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Executive Director and Communications and Development Manager in order to maximize their effectiveness and efficiency. Primary point of contact for internal and external interactions. Uses excellent customer service skills to resolve concerns and facilitate communication through the Leadership team’s offices.
Part time, 25 hours per week; some flexibility with work schedule required.

Under the general supervision of the Assistant Branch Manager, the Library Associate I provides high quality information, reader, technology, and circulation services to patrons of all ages while working at the library’s public service desks. Consistently provides caring, non-judgmental customer service to all. Positions available at the Cecilton/Chesapeake City branches and Perryville Branch Library.
Part time, 25 hours per week; weekends and evenings required
