Program Description

Event Details

Stop by the Rising Sun Branch Library to explore the Maryland Agricultural Showcase, a museum on wheels filled with colorful displays and interactive exhibits. The showcase informs visitors of all ages about the importance of Maryland agriculture in their lives. 

Hands-on activities for children are available outside of the showcase. The Showcase is open and available to visit during library opening hours. No registration required.

A read aloud event for children will be held on 11/14 at 4:00, featuring Hannah Johnson, MD's 2024 Junior Miss Agriculture USA. An accompanying event for all ages will be held on 11/15 at 6:00, featuring local farmers, food samples, and Charlie- Cecil County's cow! To register for those events, click here.
