Stop by the Elkton Branch Library to explore the Maryland Agricultural Showcase, a museum on wheels filled with colorful displays and interactive exhibits. The showcase informs visitors of all ages about the importance of Maryland agriculture in their lives.
Hands-on activities are available outside of the showcase, where children and teens can view seeds through a microscope, test their knowledge of the food groups, hear stories from farm owners, explore life in the soil, and more.
No registration required. The Showcase will be open for visitors Thursday, 7/6 11am - 4pm; Friday 7/7 10am - 5pm and Saturday, 7/8 10am - 2pm. To receive an email reminder, use the clock icon at the top of this page. Use the calendar icon to save the event to your calendar.
An accompanying hands-on workshop for families with kids ages 9-14 will be held on Thursday, 7/6 at 5pm, Microgreens and You. A program for families with kids ages 6-10 will be held Friday, 7/7 at 1pm, How Did That Get in my Lunchbox? Click here to register for those programs.
