In honor of Black History Month, take a journey with the Maryland Center for History and Culture to discover the story of Frederick Douglass’s extraordinary life as an abolitionist, statesman, and author in Maryland and beyond. View photographs, timelines, and other museum documents that make Douglass's legacy come to life. Grades 4-8.
After the program, visit our current exhibit, "Frederick Douglass: Advocate for Equality," located at the North East Branch Library throughout the month of February.
