Historian Mike Dixon explores the time when Cupid beckoned thousands of people each year to Cecil County for quick marriages.  In its heyday, there was a hum and bustle to the matrimonial business here.  It was known as the elopement capital of the east coast as cupid’s couples swarmed Elkton’s marriage parlors, for many decades.
