Program Description

Event Details

Storytelling is a longstanding tradition in the Appalachian Mountains; family histories, tall tales and ballads have been shared from generation to generation, helping to preserve the heritage its people. Hailing from the hills and hollows of that region, Adam Booth, a nationally recognized storyteller and 2022 West Virginia Folk Artist of the Year, will share original stories blending traditional mountain folklore, music, and an awareness of contemporary Appalachia.
