A Conversation with George Takei

George Takei is known around the world for his role as Sulu, helmsman of the Starship Enterprise, on Star Trek. From a childhood spent with his family imprisoned in Japanese American internment camps during World War II, he has become one of the country's social justice leaders for LGBTQ rights and marriage equality. This program is presented as part of the Maryland Libraries Together series.
